Affiliate Program Terms

1. Introduction

These Affiliate Program Terms ("Terms") govern your participation in the LinkDeck affiliate program ("Program"), operated by MediaOrb (Pty) Ltd t/a LinkDeck ("we", "us").

By enrolling in the Program, you agree to these Terms. We reserve the right to accept or reject any affiliate application at our discretion.

2. Eligibility

To participate in the Program, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Have a valid LinkDeck account in good standing.
  • Provide accurate information during enrolment.
  • Comply with all applicable South African laws and regulations.
  • Not be a current employee or contractor of MediaOrb (Pty) Ltd.

3. Affiliate Links

Upon acceptance into the Program, you will receive a unique affiliate link. You may share this link through:

  • Your website or blog.
  • Social media channels.
  • Email communications (non-spam).
  • Other legitimate marketing channels.

You are responsible for ensuring that your promotion methods comply with applicable laws and these Terms.

4. Commission Structure

You will earn a commission for each qualifying referral who:

  • Signs up for LinkDeck through your affiliate link.
  • Subscribes to a paid plan.
  • Remains a paying subscriber through the qualifying period.

Commission rates, qualifying periods, and payment thresholds are set by us and communicated through the affiliate dashboard. We reserve the right to change the commission structure with 30 days' notice.

5. Payment

  • Commissions are calculated monthly and paid out after the qualifying period.
  • A minimum payout threshold applies (as displayed in the affiliate dashboard).
  • Payments are made via EFT to a South African bank account or via an approved payment method.
  • You are responsible for any tax obligations on commission income.

6. Prohibited Practices

You may not:

  • Use paid search advertising (PPC) on LinkDeck brand terms.
  • Engage in cookie stuffing, click fraud, or other manipulative techniques.
  • Make false or misleading claims about LinkDeck.
  • Send unsolicited bulk emails (spam) promoting your affiliate link.
  • Create websites or content that could be confused with official LinkDeck properties.
  • Self-refer or create fake accounts to earn commissions.
  • Use the Program for any illegal or unethical purpose.

7. Intellectual Property

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use LinkDeck brand assets (logos, screenshots, marketing copy) solely for the purpose of promoting LinkDeck through the Program. You must follow any brand guidelines we provide.

You may not modify our brand assets or use them in a way that implies endorsement or affiliation beyond the Program.

8. Termination

Either party may terminate participation in the Program at any time. Upon termination:

  • Your affiliate link will be deactivated.
  • Outstanding commissions above the minimum threshold will be paid within 60 days.
  • Commissions below the minimum threshold are forfeited.
  • You must immediately cease using LinkDeck brand assets.

We may immediately terminate your participation for violation of these Terms, without notice or payment of outstanding commissions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Program is provided "as is". We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your participation. Our total liability is limited to the commissions earned but unpaid at the time of any claim.

10. Modifications

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify affiliates of material changes via email. Continued participation after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
